A group of government supporters, in a nighttime attack on a restaurant in Rasht, caused damage to it.

According to reports, the restaurant’s Instagram account had published a video in which it addressed compulsory hijab in a satirical way.

In this video, the phrase “Soup is free for people with hijab” is posted on a wall, and then the camera shows several veiled men standing in line.

This raid and destruction by government supporters took place while, previously, the judiciary’s prosecutor’s office had filed a complaint against this venue and its manager had been detained, and the restaurant had been sealed off.
