Netanyahu, accompanied by the Israeli military and Defense Minister Israel Katz climbed to the top of Mt. Hermon in Syria’s Golan Heights, where he declared that his country would in fact "defeat" Iran.

The premier said "there is still work to do" for the Israeli government, calling regime change in Iran a top priority.

"The main task is to defeat the terrorist regime in Iran. We are very close to it. We know that the entire axis will ultimately fall. We are committed to doing this, and we will do it," Netanyahu said.
