Mohammadreza Aref, First Vice President of Pezeshkian, at the ceremony of the trade association assembly of the Iranian university professors’ association, said about the rights of government employees: “With 40% inflation, you can’t have a 20% growth over the past two years; this year, with inflation above 60–70%, even if we increase salaries by 20%, it is not possible to make ends meet.”

Aref said: “In the field of the economy, we all understand today what problem we have; today our serious issue is inflation. There is no solution that two managers sit down and resolve it.”

First Vice President of Pezeshkian: “We hope that the enemy, for once, comes to its senses and stays faithful to its commitment and carries out this memorandum of understanding that has been signed.”
