Mizan, the media outlet of the Judiciary of the Islamic Republic, reported that the verdict in the case of Sadegh Saadi-Nia, the managing director of “Amakl and Sanaye Saadi-Nia,” was upheld by the Supreme Court. According to this report, Saadi-Nia was convicted of 12 years, 6 months, and one day of discretionary imprisonment, and the full confiscation of all movable and immovable property in favor of the government.

Earlier, Mizan had described a story posted on the platform, activity in cyberspace, presence at protest rallies, shutting down cafes and shops owned by him, and encouraging some of his employees to attend the protests in the National Iranian Revolution in Dey 1404 as examples of the allegations leveled against him.

Mizan also wrote that, based on this verdict, Sadegh Saadi-Nia was sentenced to a ban from working in the job of café-keeping for a period of 2 years after the end of his prison term.
