🔶 Migranani: The third gasoline price will increase to 10,000 tomans starting Tuesday

Fatemeh Migranani, the government spokesperson, announced on Sunday evening, 15 Shahrivar (September 6), that the price of gasoline supplied via fuel station cards will increase from the early hours of Tuesday, 17 Shahrivar, to 10,000 tomans per liter. This means the price of this type of gasoline, which had previously been 5,000 tomans, will double.

Migranani said that different figures had been discussed in expert sessions, but because of the president’s promise to the people, the rate of 10,000 tomans was set. However, she did not provide further details about the proposed figures by experts, the reasons for rejecting or accepting them, or the impact of this decision on citizens’ cost of living.

According to the government spokesperson, the monthly quota of 60 liters of gasoline at 1,500 tomans and 50 liters of gasoline at 3,000 tomans remains unchanged, and the price increase only applies to gasoline supplied via station cards.
