Kuwait’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs condemned the Islamic Republic’s attack on its territory early Saturday in the strongest terms and called it criminal.
Based on a statement from the ministry, in this attack, another power plant and water desalination facility in Kuwait were damaged.
The Kuwaiti foreign ministry emphasized that the repeated targeting of these vital installations reveals an aggressive and systematic approach aimed at civilians and essential infrastructure, endangering people’s lives and security.
The statement said the action is a clear violation of international law, international humanitarian law, the United Nations Charter, and Security Council Resolution 2817.
The Kuwaiti foreign ministry held the Islamic Republic fully responsible for the attack and its consequences and urged it to immediately end its assaults. The ministry also announced that Kuwait has full rights to take all necessary measures to preserve security and defend its territory and vital installations.
