🔺 Israel’s defense minister and the U.S. secretary of war discuss operations in Iran

▪ Israel Katz, Israel’s defense minister, spoke with Pete Hegseth, the U.S. secretary of war, “about the activities of the U.S. Army in Iran.”

▪ Katz’s office said that in the talks, the parties agreed to “continue cooperation between the two countries in the face of any possible developments.”

▪ Last week, Israel also reported a phone call between Benjamin Netanyahu, the country’s prime minister, and Donald Trump, the U.S. president, and said that “President Trump informed the prime minister of U.S. actions in the Persian Gulf.”

▪ Earlier, the New York Post, citing a source in Jerusalem, reported that Israel is interested in joining future attacks and fully resuming the war.
