🔶 IRGC claims it attacked U.S. bases in Jordan, Bahrain and Kuwait
In a statement released on Monday morning, 22 Tir (July 13) through Iran’s domestic news agencies, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) claimed attacks on a missile depot and fuel tanks of the airbase of Prince Hassan in Jordan, the command-and-control center for U.S. drones in Bahrain, and fuel storage and the Patriot air-defense system at Ali Al-Salem base, as well as a strategic radar system FPS at Ahmed Al-Jaber base in Kuwait.
The IRGC said these attacks were “a response to the United States’ attacks on the coastal bases of the armed forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran.”
In the statement, it emphasized “Iran’s ownership of the Strait of Hormuz” and wrote that “Iran will not allow the United States to continue its unlawful interference there.”
In this regard, Kuwait’s army announced on Monday that the country’s armed forces are tracking “hostile air targets” in Kuwait’s airspace.
