🔻Information received by Iran International indicates that the Supreme Council of Mines, in a meeting on 27 Mordad 1405, in order to “compensate for part of the damages incurred to the Wrestling Federation” in the 40-day war, with the maximum number of votes, has granted this sports federation exemption from receiving the “technical and financial competency certificate” and a license for mineral exploration.

🔹This is while the Wrestling Federation, like other sports federations, does not have an industrial and mining nature, and such activities are not defined within its duties.

🔹This special privilege for the Wrestling Federation and the specialized and financial exemption comes as, under Iran’s Mining Law, an ordinary person cannot obtain an exploration permit without expertise. In addition, in order to register a mining area and begin exploration, the discoverer’s technical and financial competency must be proven.

🔹This special and mining-related privilege for the Wrestling Federation is a repetition of a similar privilege for the Armed Forces of the Islamic Republic, especially the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps and the Law Enforcement Force.
