In an interview with Reza Talebi, a journalist in Germany, we discussed U.S. attacks on Islamic Republic positions in southern Iran, the outlook for a military operation, and the Islamic Republic’s stance in the negotiations. Talebi believes the biggest miscalculation by the Iranian regime after reaching an understanding with the United States was the attack on commercial ships in the coastal waters of Oman.
