🔶 Five killed after Amazon cargo plane leaves Miami airport runway
Following a cargo plane operated by Amazon leaving the runway at Miami airport in the U.S. state of Florida, at least five people died. Representatives of the responsible agencies and police announced at a press conference that five injured people were also taken to the hospital.
According to the fire department, the Boeing 767-300 aircraft left the runway at noon on Sunday, 15 Shahrivar (September 6), local time, and caught fire. The fire department said that after leaving the runway, the plane collided with several vehicles.
The U.S. Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) said on the social media platform X that the plane had taken off from the “Luis Muñoz Marín” International Airport in San Juan, located on the island of Puerto Rico in the Caribbean Sea, and after landing at Miami International Airport, it left the runway.
