Ezzatollah Zarghami, the former head of the Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting Organization, claimed in a television program that Donald Trump, the President of the United States, is in a state of “fear and helplessness” due to the threats of the Islamic Republic. Zarghami said: “All of Trump’s being has been filled with fear, and he is in complete helplessness.” He also, while referring to a written message by Mojtaba Khamenei about avenging his father’s blood, added: “This revenge will be carried out soon.” Zarghami’s remarks were made after Mojtaba Khamenei, in a written message, emphasized the continuation of retaliatory actions following the killing of Ali Khamenei and said that the revenge for this was “the will of the Iranian people” and “must be carried out.”
