🔸Donald Trump, president of the United States, rejected media reports saying that American aircraft were damaged during the recent missile attacks by the Islamic Republic of Iran on Jordan.

🔸On Thursday, September 19, in an interview with NewsNation, when asked about these reports, he said: “No. No damage has been done. Nothing has happened.”

🔸Shortly before Trump’s remarks, Fox News had written, citing a senior U.S. official, that Iranian ballistic missiles during the broad missile attack on Tuesday, September 17, damaged U.S. warplanes deployed in Jordan.

🔸Fox News published the story from its senior correspondent Jennifer Griffin.

🔸CBS News had first reported the issue that, during Iran’s missile attacks on a U.S. forces base in Jordan, “several U.S. military aircraft were damaged.”

🔸On Wednesday, September 18, the Jordanian army, in a statement, said that Iran fired 20 ballistic missiles at Jordan during the previous night.
