Can this $77 million state initiative bolster Ukraine's cultural sphere?

"Tysiachovesna," or "1,000 Springs," is a project originally proposed by President Volodymyr Zelensky in the fall of 2025 to use Hr 4 billion ($76.7 million) of the state budget to support the creation of 1,000 hours of Ukrainian-language content.

The hope is that the initiative will generate more stories about Ukraine told through a distinctly Ukrainian lens, while cultivating a competitive landscape among artists.
