🎥 As an activist, journalist, or any user, you may also have received messages from fake identities; especially from security hackers. How can we tell whether a hacker’s identity is fake? When encountering these fake messages, what should we do? In many cases, even though users are aware that the message they received is fake and know that it was created by a security-related actor, they still end up entering into a conversation with the hacker and expressing their anger or excitement. In this discussion, Amir Rashidi, while addressing how to verify the received message, says that even exchanging a few simple messages can put your security at risk.
