Artin Khajaviania’s mother, whose 16-year-old son was killed in the protests of Dey 1404, has published a video of collecting her child’s shoes; shoes from different periods of his life that now remain as mementos. Her post reads: “I will go through your first to your last steps, my brave son. From the moment-by-moment of your growing up, all that remains for me are memories that pass before my eyes every second.” Artin Khajaviania, a 16-year-old student in the computer field, was killed by a bullet fired from a combat weapon on the evening of Dey 18, 1404, during the protests in front of the governorate building in Qods city (Qaleh Hasan Khan). His mother wrote: “From that beautiful baby in my arms, in that yellow outfit, to that tall man whose sight I had to lift my head to see, you will always remain as the legacy of my being a mother.” She referred to her son as “my eternal hero” and wrote: “Every moment and every place your memory will be eternal, and your path will be full of light.”
