Last year, two brothers of the family, who had gone to the police after stealing billions worth of gold, came under suspicion by detectives.

During further investigations, the two men confessed to killing the five family members, and cited their motivation as obtaining an inheritance.

After the murders, they dug a well about 20 meters deep and buried the bodies, which they had placed in sacks, in it.
