An armed man with a Kalashnikov opened fire on members of the IRGC at a checkpoint in Mashhad. The site of the shooting was within the area where a Basij station is located, on the south side and outside the main courtyard of the shrine. The people who attacked the Mashhad checkpoint tonight were wearing military uniforms and, after killing the IRGC agents, fled.
