Al Arabiya, citing a source, reported that the Islamic Republic has told Pakistani officials that it has not left the negotiations, but instead has suspended them.
According to this source, Tehran emphasized that the negotiations should be resumed from the same point where they were halted and continued in accordance with the understandings. The Islamic Republic also announced its readiness to continue the negotiations in Geneva, Doha, or Islamabad.
The source added that the Islamic Republic has announced its opposition to the creation of a new passage in the Strait of Hormuz and has called for resuming talks with priority given to the Strait of Hormuz file, then the frozen assets, and finally the nuclear program.
