According to Tasnim, Mohammad Akraminia, the spokesperson of the Islamic Republic of Iran’s army, said: “America has become a nervous actor in its period of decline and no longer has the ability to maintain its hegemony.”

He added: “The recent war showed that America’s priority is not to ensure the security of the countries in the region, but to protect its own interests and those of Israel; therefore, imported security will never ensure lasting peace.”
