🔸According to figures announced by the National Iranian Oil Products Distribution Company, the average daily gasoline consumption in the first week of Shahrivar has exceeded 148 million liters.

🔸Based on these figures, the highest daily demand in the first 8 days of the last month of summer was more than 154 million liters, and in this period, a total of more than 1.2 billion liters of gasoline was supplied.

🔸A sharp reduction in production capacity in recent months as a result of the United States’ attacks on Iran’s oil facilities, on the one hand, and the government’s problems with importing gasoline from other countries, on the other, have led to an increase in gasoline prices and even raised the possibility of this product’s price going up and a sharp rise in demand for it.

🔸Masoud Pezeshkian, the president, and several other officials have emphasized that the government does not have much capacity to import gasoline and, in particular, to supply it at previous prices. At the same time, the Iranian government claims that the formation of lines at some gasoline stations is due to excitement and psychological pressure, and that there is no problem in supplying the gasoline the country needs.
