🔺Court of Appeal upholds prison sentences for 5 Christian converts; continuation of suppression of religious freedoms by the Islamic Republic ▪ The judicial authorities of the Islamic Republic regime in Iran upheld sentences issued against five Christian citizens; sentences under which Aida Najafloo, Joseph Shahbazian, Nasser Nord Goltepe, Lida Alksani, and another Christian convert were collectively sentenced to 55 years in prison. According to human rights reports, 48 years of these sentences are enforceable.
