Yuri Ushakov, an adviser to the Kremlin, announced on Sunday that in a roughly 90-minute phone conversation with Vladimir Putin, President of Russia, Trump suggested that the United States help find a solution to the war in Ukraine. Trump raised this proposal ahead of his participation in this week’s summit of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) in Turkey. According to this report, Trump said that Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner, the U.S. envoys, will continue efforts for mediation and reaching an agreement, and are ready to travel to Moscow again.
