Iranian media had earlier reported that Masoud Pezeshkian this week will travel to New York at the head of an Iranian delegation to deliver a speech at the United Nations General Assembly.

These remarks come hours after the IRGC-affiliated Central Command of Khatam al-Anbia said, based on “information received,” that the United States, with support from some regional countries, is preparing to resume military actions against Iran.

In a statement by the command affiliated with the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Islamic Republic, without referring to details or providing evidence, it claimed that the United States “has once again decided, with the green light of some regional countries, to restart actions against Islamic Iran in a joint meeting in one of the European countries.”
