The story behind the famous Messi and Yamal photo—what’s it about?

The photo goes back to the autumn of 2007, when Barcelona, together with UNICEF, held a charity program.

Yamal’s family won a draw, and their luck was that they got the chance to take a souvenir photo with Messi.

At the time, Yamal was only 6 months old, and Messi was still a shy, quiet boy; the photographer says he didn’t even know how to hold the baby or pose in front of the camera.
