The Omani government condemned the Islamic Republic’s attack on its territory and emphasized that it will not accept such an action, considering it a threat to its security and sovereignty.

Oman’s official news agency said this attack took place amid a wave of attacks by the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps on the countries of the region.

The attack occurred only a few hours after Oman hosted Abbas Araghchi, the Foreign Minister of the Islamic Republic, for talks on security issues in the Strait of Hormuz.

Oman is considered one of the main mediators between the Islamic Republic and the United States and one of the key actors in efforts to reduce tensions in the region.
