Kuwaiti officials reported damage to a renewable power plant and a desalination complex in the Islamic Republic of Iran’s attacks on Friday.

According to The Associated Press, a fire caused by the Islamic Republic’s missile and drone attacks on Kuwait’s power and water facilities was contained, and officials in the country are assessing the damage inflicted on these facilities.

The Kuwaiti government says that the Islamic Republic’s attacks caused significant damage to many power generation units at a renewable power plant.

Desalination plants provide 90% of Kuwait’s drinking water.
