🔶 Israel reiterates its “complete disarmament of Hamas” stance Hamas has announced that it has dissolved its government in the Gaza Strip. The ceasefire agreement also anticipates the gradual withdrawal of Israeli forces. However, Israel’s foreign minister does not trust this terrorist group and is calling for its disarmament. Israel described the dissolution of the Hamas government in the Gaza Strip by this terrorist group as a “trick” and continues to demand the complete disarmament of this Islamist Palestinian organization. Gideon Sa’ar, Israel’s foreign minister, wrote on the social media platform X: “As long as Hamas keeps its weapons, any civilian government will naturally act according to Hamas’s wishes.” Sa’ar also wrote that Israel insists on implementing what is referred to as the “Trump plan” for peace in the Gaza Strip. According to him, the “core principles” of this plan are “the disarmament of Hamas and all other terrorist organizations, as well as the complete civilianization of the Gaza Strip.” Earlier, Hamas had announced that it dissolved its government in this coastal enclave, thereby paving the way for the formation of an institution composed of experts to administer this Palestinian territory.
