Iranian state media reported that areas in the center of the country were hit in recent hours.

According to a report by IRIB, citing a crisis management official, part of Semnan Airport, located about 160 kilometers east of Tehran, was targeted by “airstrikes.”

Also, according to the deputy governor of Markazi Province, in the early hours of Thursday, two projectiles hit an area near the city of Khandab in Markazi Province.

IRNA also reported that the sound of explosions was heard in Khorramabad, the capital of Lorestan Province.

America’s attacks on Iran last week were focused mainly on southern coastal areas, although some areas deep within Iran’s territory were also targeted.

Iranian state media, citing the security director general of the Governorate of Kerman, reported that the attack on Semnan Airport did not cause “human casualties.”
