Ali Reza Zakani, mayor of Tehran, said in an interview with ISNA News Agency, affiliated with the Islamic Republic, that during the attack on 9 Esfand 1404, he had gone by motorcycle from around Ferdowsi Square toward the residence. He added that the missile directly hit a floor where Mojtaba Khamenei was present. According to Zakani, Mojtaba Khamenei’s wife was killed in this attack and he himself was injured. Zakani said that one of the aims of this attack was to kill Mojtaba Khamenei.
