Ali Nahavandi, the head of the Islamic Research Center of the Parliament, said: «America and Israel, as well as their regional agents, must be assured that no hostile action will go unanswered and that every blow will entail heavier and more painful costs.»

According to Tasnim News Agency, Nahavandi also said that deterrence is not only a threat of retaliation; it is creating a calculation in which, for the rational enemy, refraining from war is more reasonable than continuing it.
