Ahmed Alavi, an economist, by pointing to the deepening crisis in medicine and treatment in Iran, said that the budget deficit of insurers ultimately goes back to the financial crisis of the government and the way resources are allocated. He emphasizes that the financial pressure on pharmacies has caused part of treatment costs to be transferred directly to patients, and at the same time, the black market for medicine has also expanded.
