The United Nations General Assembly voted to replace the traditional world map with a map that reflects the size of Africa more accurately.

The “Fix the Map” resolution, proposed by the country of Togo and backed by members of the African Union (AU), was approved with support from 164 countries, including France and the United Kingdom.
