UN Security Council to review, in public meeting, the work of the 1737 sanctions committee on Iran.

The UN Security Council will review the work of the sanctions committee established under Resolution 1737 in a public meeting focused on Iran.

The meeting is held one day after the Board of Governors of the International Atomic Energy Agency adopted a resolution, which asked the Director General of the Agency to report on Iran’s nuclear file to the UN Security Council and the UN General Assembly.
