Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner offered several “worthy ideas” in recent weekend talks to end the war with Russia.

On Tuesday, he told reporters: “Regarding the peace package that Kushner spoke about, and the new ideas I can say—there really were very worthy and valuable ideas.”

Zelensky did not provide any further details and said Kyiv has agreed with U.S. envoys to work on them in the first step.

The Ukrainian president said he plans to meet with Donald Trump, the U.S. president, toward the end of this month. According to him, an air defense support package for the winter will be the main focus of that meeting.

Zelensky said Ukrainian, U.S., and European representatives will meet soon to prepare for a trilateral meeting. Based on his remarks, Turkey, the United Arab Emirates, Switzerland, or other countries could host it.
