👈 U.S. strategic oil reserves have fallen to 285 million barrels, which is the lowest level since November 1982 and is approximately 40% of its total capacity.

Over the past four years, these reserves have been drawn down significantly twice: about 180 million barrels of oil were released during President Biden’s term after Russia’s attack on Ukraine, while another 172 million barrels were granted for withdrawal during President Trump’s term after disruption to oil flows through the Strait of Hormuz due to the war with Iran.
