Donald Trump, the president of the United States, said on Wednesday, 17 Tir, that American forces the previous night, in response to the Islamic Republic’s attack on American ships in the Strait of Hormuz, dealt Iran a “very hard blow.”

Trump said the Islamic Republic fired “several drones, one rocket, and one missile” at American ships in the Strait of Hormuz, adding that those ships “were fully right” to be present in that area.

The U.S. president also, while threatening to continue attacks, said, “We will probably strike them hard again tonight. This is a small warning; we will hit them hard tonight.”

He also, in another part of his remarks, accused the Islamic Republic of “very bad behavior” over the past 47 years and once again criticized Tehran’s policies. ✅
