Trump calls for 'unified' Ireland

Visiting Dublin on Saturday, US President Donald Trump said he would "love" to see Ireland unified with Northern Ireland, calling it a "fantastic thing" that is "going to happen eventually."

His remarks, made alongside Irish Prime Minister Micheal Martin, contrast with British Prime Minister Andy Burnham's recent statement that a referendum over Northern Ireland is "off the table."
