Three unidentified sources told Reuters that Saudi Arabia, at its Red Sea port in Yanbu, has only enough oil reserves for five to seven days, and it has also stored a smaller amount in Egypt.

Saudi Arabia’s ability to bypass the Strait of Hormuz and continue exporting oil after its attack on the East-to-West pipeline of this country has been severely limited.

The pipeline was stopped the day after the attack, described as a “precautionary measure.” This route is considered Saudi Arabia’s only main option for exporting oil without relying on the Strait of Hormuz.
