👈 The United States has decided to remove French organizations from a State Department funding program that supports the priorities of the Trump administration in Europe. The decision was taken due to concerns about allegations of foreign interference ahead of the 2027 French presidential election, according to Reuters.

The program provides between $1 million and $3 million to groups that work in areas such as democracy, freedom of expression, migration, censorship, and national sovereignty.

The State Department said the program is still under review and declined to confirm or deny whether French groups have been removed from the program.
