The prime minister and the foreign minister of Qatar and their Saudi counterpart discussed regional developments in a phone call on Sunday.

Based on a statement by Qatar’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani, in a call with Faisal bin Farhan, stressed the importance of all parties’ commitment to dialogue and diplomacy and to implementing what has been agreed within the framework of the understanding reached between the United States and the Islamic Republic.

According to him, this includes ensuring freedom of navigation in the Strait of Hormuz so that regional security is maintained and the achievements achieved are safeguarded.
