The Israeli army said its forces identified and targeted a terrorist in the north of the Gaza Strip on Thursday. According to the army, after crossing the “yellow line,” the individual approached Israeli forces and was considered an immediate threat.
In a statement, the Israeli army said: The person was identified by Israeli forces as a terrorist, and the way he approached the troops was assessed as an immediate threat. The Israeli Air Force immediately targeted him and killed him.
The Israeli army also said its forces are deployed under the command of the Southern Command and in accordance with the existing arrangement in this area, and will continue to operate to identify and neutralize immediate threats.
