The missile and drone threats posed by the Islamic Republic have pushed the Gulf countries to strengthen their defensive capabilities and to produce drones.

Houshang Hossein-Yari, a Middle East and military affairs expert, told Iran International that the new generation of drones has changed the military situation in the Persian Gulf and has caused the Arab countries in the region to enter this arena for the first time as the main players.
