🔸The IRGC Navy says it targeted a remotely operated U.S. military vessel.

🔸The public relations of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps of the Islamic Republic of Iran said in a statement on Sunday, 15 Shahrivar, that this vessel intended to enter the “protected area” of the Strait of Hormuz.

🔸The United States has not yet commented on these attacks.

🔸The IRGC Navy previously said in a statement that, in response to American attacks on three Iranian oil tankers, it targeted an aircraft carrier and a U.S. Army destroyer with several ballistic missiles.

🔸U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) said that U.S. military forces on Saturday, 14 Shahrivar, after the IRGC fired ballistic missiles at two U.S. warships, targeted three Iranian crude-oil export tankers.

🔸In response, Iran warned that if the United States’ maritime blockade of Iran continued, attacks on U.S. vessels could escalate.
