🔻In the first match of the sixth week of the Persian Gulf Pro League, Tractor won 1–0 against Gol Gohar Sirjan and, with 16 points, solidified its position at the top of the table. The match’s only goal was scored by Amirhossein Hosseinzadeh in the 43rd minute, from a long assist by Alireza Beiranvand.

🔹The match, held at Sahand Stadium in Tabriz, was accompanied by tension and controversy from the time the players entered the field to warm up until the final minute.

🔹During the warm-up, the spectators chanted insulting slogans against Omid Alishah, the former captain of Persepolis who this year plays for Gol Gohar. Then, whenever a ball reached him, he was booed. Alishah played for Gol Gohar for more than 80 minutes.

🔹However, the scene of Hosseinzadeh’s goal was accompanied by protests from Gol Gohar players and staff. The club, by publishing a statement on social media in the middle of the match, protested the referee’s decisions, including over the goal incident.

🔹The refereeing was not only met with Gol Gohar’s protests; the repeated objections by Tractor’s coaching staff led to the sending off of Khodadad Azizi, the Tractor team manager, at the beginning of the second half.
