📍 Son of Iran and a devoted fighter for the path of freedom #Majtaba_Babakhani, from Malekshahi, and one of the protesters of Dey 1404, in Mehran, Ilam Province, after months of living in hiding, on Wednesday morning, 18 Shahrivar 1405, he became a martyr in the course of a siege and clashes with police forces.

After identifying Majtaba’s location, the officers surrounded him and fighting broke out between the two sides. During the clashes, Majtaba detonated a grenade, which resulted in his own death and the deaths of at least two officers of the Law Enforcement Force, as well as the injury of several others.

On his personal page, it had been written: «Die with your name; do not remain with shame»

The name of Majtaba Babakhani will not be forgotten. A young man who, in the hardest days, did not surrender and stood by his beliefs until the very last moment.
