Russia sincerely hopes that US peace efforts will yield results, Kremlin Spokesman Dmitry Peskov told the Izvestia daily.

No joint Russia-US economic projects are currently underway, and future ties depend on a settlement of the Ukraine conflict, he noted. According to Peskov, both countries understand that resuming economic cooperation could greatly benefit them, but no mechanisms for such cooperation are currently in place.
