🔻New wave of Israeli attacks on southern Lebanon

According to state media in Lebanon, a new wave of Israeli airstrikes on the south of that country has continued today as well.

According to Lebanon’s official news agency, overnight Israeli attacks on villages in southern Lebanon left 11 people dead, including two infants.

Yesterday’s attacks also left seven dead.

On Thursday, Israel said it had seized the hills of Ali al-Tahir in southern Lebanon.

Although Hezbollah condemned Israel’s attacks on southern Lebanon in a statement yesterday, it said nothing about Ali al-Tahir.

After the start of the 40-day war, Hezbollah entered the war with Israel in support of Iran.

After a ceasefire between Iran and the United States, Israeli attacks on southern Beirut, which is the site of Hezbollah’s base, were halted in only one case, but Israeli attacks on southern Lebanon have continued.

In recent weeks, Israeli attacks have been focused more on the heights of Ali al-Tahir and Nabatiyeh.
