Mourad Vaisi, Iran International’s senior analyst, said: “After years of experience with the governments of Khatami, Rouhani, and Pezeshkian, people no longer have an opportunity to try reforms again; reforms that each time have ended in failure. The government, too, in the face of the people’s numerous uprisings and protests, instead of listening to demands and offering reform plans in the fields of politics, the economy, and foreign policy, has always resorted to repression.”
