🔶 Minister of Education: Postponing the exams was not reasonable; the tests will be held in line with the conditions of each province
Ali Reza Kazemi, Minister of Education, referring to the issue of postponing the final exam dates for the current year, said: “A nationwide postponement of the exams was not a logical decision and would have caused widespread problems for the education system; therefore, holding the exams in proportion to the conditions of each province is being pursued, with priority given to maintaining the security and peace of mind of students.”
According to IRNA, Kazemi, on Sunday, at a meeting of the members of the Education Commission of the Parliament of the Islamic Consultative Assembly, held at the Ministry of Education, added: “We should not compare today’s conditions with normal circumstances. In such a situation, it is natural that a single, identical decision cannot be made for all provinces of the country, and decisions must be taken in line with the conditions of each region.”
He, referring to the participation of “about 1.5 million students in the final exams,” said: “About 10 percent of these students are present in provinces involved in wartime conditions, and the remaining 90 percent are taking part in the exams in other provinces of the country.”
